When downloading a large volume of media from Limecraft, we recommend using Edge for a smoother and more reliable experience. You can initiate the download directly from Limecraft or via your Edge desktop application. This article will guide you through the process step by step

Prerequisites

To use this download option, you must have:

  • The necessary permissions and a valid Edge licence. If you don’t have a licence yet, please contact your workspace admin to request access.
  • The Edge desktop application installed on your computer for the best experience.

Why Use Edge for Downloading?

Downloading media with Edge offers several advantages:

  • Collection-level downloads – Choose a collection and download all of its content at once.
  • No ZIP files – Clips are downloaded one by one rather than being bundled into a ZIP file first.
  • Original file names – The downloaded clips retain their original names.
  •  Folder structure – You can manage the folder structure and the location where it is downloaded.
