When using Limecraft for AI subtitling, you can export the subtitles in a number of file formats. This article describes which export formats are available and the steps you need to take to export such subtitles.
After creating the subtitles with the Limecraft Subtitle Editor, you can access the export options in the left upper corner of the subtitle pane.
You can find two options: Export as file and Burn into video.

Exporting Subtitles
Currently Limecraft Subtitle Editor offers the option to export subtitles in the following formats.
- SRT: Subtitles for online use. Less possibilities than other formats.
- STL: Broadcasting, Avid, Premiere
- EBU-TT-D: XML-format (non binary)
- WebVTT: webformat
Click the 'Export as file' option as shown above and select the preferred format.
The subtitle files will be dropped in the folder that your browser uses as download space. If one of these formats is not available, please contact your production or account admin to check the settings.
'Export with color tags' includes the color tags for the speaker changes.
'Keep media time code' Uses SMPTE time in the subtitle export for the timecodes. If this is unticked, the time will be relative to the start of the video (and start from 00:00:00:00)
