Limecraft Edge allows you to extend your workflows with backup, transcoding, ingest, and batch downloads. To use Edge, a valid licence is required. You can request one from [email protected] or your Limecraft Account Manager.

This article explains how to enable your team members to use Edge.

Limecraft Edge is available starting from the Team subscription.

To manage user permissions for Limecraft Edge, you must have at least Workspace Admin permissions.

What is Needed to Use Edge

  • Permissions
  • Licence
  • Edge Desktop App

Follow these simple steps to get your team set up with Edge.

1. Permissions

The default roles Production Admin and Production Member already include permission to use Edge.

If you create a custom role and want it to have Edge access, ensure that the Edge permission is enabled.

2. Licence

Each Limecraft account can have one or more Edge licences.

To grant a team member access to Edge, you’ll need to share a licence key of the relevant account.

  • Licence keys are available in the Account Settings > Usage page. (Only accessible to Account Admins.)
  • When logging into Edge for the first time, the team member must enterthe correct licence key.
