Limecraft’s Review application offers the option to mask user identities in comments, a feature known as anonymisation of comments. This ensures privacy in collaborative environments by preventing users from identifying the authors of comments unless they have the appropriate permissions.

How Does Comment Anonymisation Work?

  • Users always see their own name when viewing or adding comments.

  • Users with permission to view comment creators will see the names of other commenters along with their roles.

  • Users without this permission will see only a role name or a label (if configured) instead of a full name.

Managing Permissions for Comment Visibility

Anonymisation is controlled via user permissions, which can be managed by a Workspace Admin. If needed, an admin can grant or restrict access to comment creator details based on user roles.

This feature helps maintain clarity and streamlined collaboration by displaying only the essential information within the platform.

Please note that the comment creator is still shown when making an export with comments and can be included when using other applications, such as the mobile app.
