Limecraft automatically creates accessibility-compliant subtitles by using speaker segmentation from the transcription to indicate speaker changes through colours. However, if you prefer not to use colours in your subtitles, you can disable them via the subtitle preset. Here's how.

Option 1: Create a Subtitle Preset with a Single Colour

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Subtitle Editor Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Subtitle Preset section.

  3. Create a new preset by cloning an existing one or starting from scratch with "New preset".

  4. In the Text Style section, remove all colours except the one you want to use.

Once this preset is created, you can select it when creating subtitles to ensure they appear in just one consistent colour (i.e., no colour changes to indicate speaker turns).

Option 2: Create a Subtitle Export Preset Without Colour Tags

Note: This will still show speaker colours inside the subtitle editor; however, the colour tags will be excluded from the exported subtitle file.

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Subtitle Editor Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Subtitle Export Preset section.

  3. Create a new export preset for your preferred subtitle file format and deselect the option to include colour tags.

Now you can use this preset when exporting subtitles, and the output file will not include speaker colour tags.
