Limecraft Edge is a powerful desktop application designed to support professional media teams with file transfers, ingest workflows and remote collaboration. If you're just getting started with Edge, this article will guide you through the first steps, from downloading the software to logging in and accessing your workspaces.

Start by Requesting Access

Before installing Edge, it’s important to ensure you have everything you need to get started. Limecraft Edge requires a valid licence, which is typically managed via a Team subscription. Introducing Edge to your organisation is best done in collaboration with the Limecraft team.

We recommend getting in touch with your Limecraft account manager or the support team. They’ll walk you through the onboarding steps and provide you with the required Edge licence, ensuring everything is configured correctly from the start.

Downloading Limecraft Edge

Once you have your licence in hand, the next step is to download the application to your local device.

You can always access the most recent version of Limecraft Edge from within your Limecraft workspace. Navigate to your user preferences to find the download link.

Before proceeding with the installation, we recommend reviewing the hardware requirements to ensure your system is compatible.
