A common on-set workflow involves creating light edit proxies and sending them to Limecraft for instant download at another location. In practice, Edge generates these edit proxies and uploads them to Limecraft Cloud Storage, making them accessible from anywhere.

NOTE: This process requires stable and sufficiently fast internet connectivity.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure the appropriate encoding profile is available in the Edge Encoding Settings within your Limecraft Workspace.

If you need to make changes or create new encoding profiles, please contact support@limecraft.com or your account manager. Expert knowledge is required for encoding profile customization.

Steps to Generate and Transfer Edit Proxies

  1. Follow the steps outlined in the Transcoding and Transfer with Edge article.

  2. Select the desired transcoding profile.

  3. Choose Flow as the destination.
