Limecraft Workspace is a collaborative, hybrid Media Asset Management system designed to help video content producers manage large volumes of audiovisual content. Alongside AI-assisted smart workflows, its powerful search engine makes it easy to find the right clips quickly. This article explains how to save search queries as shortcuts, improving efficiency and helping teams prioritise their work.
In the article Searching for media, we explain in great detail how you can use combinations of collections, filters and the search engine to efficiently retrieve the right content fragments.
In this article, we will explain how you can save these search results, so you can use exactly the same search parameters in the future without having to reconstruct your selection. We call it a Quick View, which is available as a shortcut on top of your navigation bar.
Before you begin
Before you can store a particular view on your library, please make sure you have set the proper filters and used the correct search arguments.
For example, you might want to restrict your results to the clips that have not been transcribed yet. This is what you would typically set using a filter.

Saving your search as a Quick View
So in case you would like to create a shortcut for the current view, use the "+" sign next to Quick Views on top of the navigation bar. A pop up will ask you for the name of the View, after which you just need to confirm.

If you select a collection now and activate the quick view, that collection will be filtered according to your quick view.
