The Limecraft Review app enables you to effectively collaborate with team members in real time. Sharing comments is one important aspect of collaboration. This article explains how to edit several comments at once. You can, for instance, add a tag to a bulk of comments, change the security level or delete several comments at once.
Sharing comments is an essential aspect of reviewing video and thus of the Review App on Limecraft platform. As part of the review process, you may want to modify one or more comments at the same time which would save you the equivalent of several clicks to open each comment, modify it, and confirm the change. For the sake of efficiency, we allow you to update, change the visibility status, or delete comments in batch.
Note: Limecraft supports the notion of Restricted Comments, which allows you to dynamically control the visibility status depending on the type of user - essentially defining different access levels. It is sometimes useful to keep all comments on restricted level for the duration of the review process, and to subsequently change the visibility level to more accessible for all comments at the same time.
Selecting Multiple Comments
Select one or more comments that you want to modify by using the tick box left of the comment.
You can also click 'ctrl + a' to select all comments.
Adding Tags to Multiple Comments at the Same Time
Bulk update enables you to add new tags on selected clips. After typing in the comments quickly, you can refine and improve their retrievability using the search engine by adding relevant tags.
Change the Visibility Level of Multiple Comments at the Same Time
Change Visibility allows you to change the visibility level of the multiple selected comments at the same time. You can chose to set some comments for restricted visibility, or vice versa.
When making restricted comments visible to all, it is is also possible to change the review status of the selected clips at the same time.
